The Spit and Blacks Beach region is home to more than 119 species of birds as well as the famous loggerhead turtle.

With more than 400ha of coastal along Mackay’s northern beaches already protected under law, The Dunes on Blacks Beach represents a rare opportunity to live surrounded by a pristine environment.

The Blacks Beach region is contains four primary types of ecosystems: mangroves, coastal dunes, woodlands and McCreadys Creek.
